Network Services Manager

Location: Bensalem, PA
Salary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually

• Direct hire
• $120-130k, depending on experience. Potential for small annual bonus as well
• Fully on-site for initial 90 days, then transitioning to hybrid 2x/week on-site

Job Title: Manager, Network Services

Job Summary: The Manager, Network Services, is responsible for ensuring the operation, performance, and availability of core network infrastructure. This role focuses on Networking, Telecom, MPLS, and VOIP technologies across the organization. The ideal candidate will manage network and systems projects of varying complexity, work independently, and lead a high-performing network engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all Networking and Telecom systems, including hands-on engineering and hardware architecture.
• Provide application support and performance tuning for CISCO Networking and Telecom infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce security measures and standards throughout the network and telecom infrastructure.
• Maintain, configure, and update telecommunication systems and the MPLS network to ensure reliability and performance.
• Analyze and monitor system capacity and performance for upgrades and expansion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, QoS, MPLS, and SIP, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
• Document and diagram current and future network expansions.
• Mentor staff and build a cohesive network engineering team.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to expedite issue resolution.
• Maintain and support call recording, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Perform systems analysis for software/hardware modifications, including vendor software releases and user requests.
• Research, plan, design, and implement telecom solutions.
• Revise and update IT departmental procedures related to network and telecom infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability of all systems and take immediate control of production problems.
• Work with the SVP IT to determine departmental priorities and engage outside contractors when necessary.
• Ensure timely completion of projects and deployments.
• Mentor junior networking staff to build a reliable and solid infrastructure and team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the SVP IT.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Networking and Telecom infrastructure (design and implementation).
• 7+ years of experience with routers and switches related to Networking and Telecom infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills.
• 5 years of management and leadership experience.
• Experience in the configuration and administration of PBXs, ACDs, ALGs, and SBCs.
• Advanced networking experience with TCP/IP, UDP, QoS, MPLS, and SIP.
• Advanced networking experience with SDWAN, DMVPN, and other advanced networking technologies.
• Experience working with vendors on multiple levels (ordering, provisioning, and engineering).
• Cisco Voice and CCNP certification or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting multisite WAN.
• Strong working knowledge of layer 3 networks, including redundancy and advanced routing protocols (BGP, HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP, SIP, ELAN, TLAN, and MPLS).
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
