Overview:
We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to work with our client. The Compensation Analyst will be conducting market research, benchmarking compensation, and analyzing salary schedules.
Duties:

Analyze job descriptions and specifications to match State jobs to market benchmark jobs.

Use published compensation surveys to benchmark compensation practices against industry standards.

Create and maintain large databases containing State employee and market salary data.

Analyze market compensation data to identify leading market practice tied to multiple sectors and geographies.

Compare the market salary data to State employee salaries and State salary structures.

Help to document the market study findings in spreadsheets and charts.

Help to prepare compensation-related reports and documentation.
Mandatory Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in a similar role.

Proficiency in data collection and analysis, with a strong focus on HR and compensation analysis.

Expertise in salary benchmarking and market data analysis.

Comprehensive understanding of various job roles and functions to effectively analyze and compare job data.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in compensation analysis or related HR roles preferred.
