What will you be doing?

The Senior AI Security Consultant will assist in delivering outcomes across a wide range of global clients. This will be accomplished by supporting engagements through engaging customer leadership to define priorities and outcomes and expanding the capabilities and offerings of the practice. The Consultant will collaborate on consulting engagements in the development of AI cybersecurity strategy, plan, design, and implementation. Candidates should have familiarity with both enterprise cyber security, scaled data/AI model types, and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Focus:
  • Understand customer needs and design solutions that address these needs both short and long-term.
  • Assist in comprehensive AI security assessments of client infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and providing clear, actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in emerging, AI threats, security and application architectural strategies in addition to modern cyber security elements (Zero trust, DevSecOps, Microservices, IAM, Authentication, RBAC, containerization, cloud, Access Controls, Networks, etc.)

Creative Solutioning:
  • Develop and recommend plans to structure secure architectures, including Sec Ops AI-enabled process augmentation, systems infrastructure, and AI-enhanced security tooling.
  • Understand the security interplay in the areas of application assurance, data classification, network security, and emerging IT trends and threats.
  • Analyze and assess client-facing challenges, identify recommendations for solutions and define a strategy and roadmap to implement such solutions successfully.
  • Develop and deliver workshops in the areas of AI cybersecurity, related compliance, and IAM to include but not be limited to security policy, process flows, workflows, entitlements, roles, and solution definitions.
  • Develop reports and supporting presentations for both client and internal discussions with excellent communication skills that need to be demonstrated to internal and external teams.
  • Research multiple approaches to issues with a strong analytical view on comparing options and documenting pros/cons.
  • Understanding of AI security best practices, common tools and techniques, and ability to communicate AI concepts at various levels of technical understanding.
  • Ability to document the process of evolution from standards to policies and controls to ensure security processes are adhered to and traceable.

Strategic Client Relationship Management:
  • Use a strategic approach to managing customer interactions and data throughout the customer journey with a goal of higher business growth through better customer experiences.
  • Assist the client with the design and implementation of AI security strategies tailored to specific business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Commercial Success:
  • Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts, leveraging cutting edge offerings to grow our market position and offer best-in-class solutions for our clients.
  • Work with other teammates to become a trusted advisor to our customers by thoroughly understanding issues and concerns, offering the best solutions, and delivering relevant answers.
  • Maintain currency with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in AI security. Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and seminars.
  • Sharing best practices, lessons learned, and challenges from engagements internally to improve team and practice processes through continuous improvement and documentation.

End to End Solution Management/Delivery
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI security strategies tailored to specific business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, communicating complex topics to technical and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, Technology Management or related field with Master s Degree preferred. Continuing education or degree- based coursework in Scaled Data, Analytics and AI/Data Science strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with integrated technology solutions, emerging AI-enabled tooling, technologies, and techniques and their application in a consulting environment. Awareness of tools and software commonly used in operations management
  • Supporting practical data science projects or developing the architecture or infrastructure for AI or data (e.g., MLOps).
  • Risk management beyond core security (data governance, data protection, acceptable use, responsible use, ethical use etc).
  • Advising data scientists, ML engineers.
  • Understanding of the concepts and function of DevOps, DevSecOps or MLOps.
    • AI algorithms the security-related risks
    • Can explain common security risks associated with GenAI including LLMs.
    • Depth of experience in at least one primary industry vertical, e.g. healthcare, financials; or one practice area - e.g., HPC, cloud AI security, customer-facing use cases
  • Relevant certifications that would be a plus may include:
    • CISSP
    • CS_AI
  • Familiarity with implementing and/or auditing compliance frameworks such as:
    • CSA CCM 4.x
    • NIST 800-53
    • Or other relevant security frameworks.
  • Ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments under adjusting priorities.
  • Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences.
  • Professional writing style and experience with demonstrable technical and business-related artifacts is required.
  • Collaborative, with the ability to manage conflicting interests and deal with ambiguity.
  • Effective communication skills: capable of supporting presentations to convey concepts and solutions, writing effective emails, and discussing strategy with senior executives.
  • Strong teamwork qualities: able to gain the trust of customers and collaborate effectively within the WWT team.
  • Intellectually curious with a desire to understand constantly evolving technology solutions.
  • Proactive, collaborative, with emotional intelligence, and the capacity to learn and synthesize new information.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
