Job Description

Our well known direct client is hiring for an experienced C#.NET Developer to build our client's next generation services platform. Build amazingly powerful and intuitive applications for internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of hands-on development experience with C# and .NET Framework. Additionally, they want this person to have prior experience working with cloud technologies and developing apps to cloud environments such as Azure. This will be a fully remote position following an EST schedule. This role is starting as a 3-month contract to hire opportunity.

Our client is also committed in implementing a solid Agile/SCRUM foundation to their development practices. Ideally, this candidate will have a key role in teaching and mentoring other team members in Agile and other best practices

Essential Skills:

- Four plus years of experience in .NET Framework and C# programming.

- Four plus years of experience with application design, implementation, maintenance, diagnosing/correcting issues, managing security vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance with industry security standards under minimal direction.

- Four plus years of development in a large-scale, multi-platform environment is required

- Experience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies is preferred

- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and address performance needs of tier 1 applications

- Research and evaluate new software, frameworks, and techniques to provide recommendations to the division

- Mentor less experienced .NET developers while providing training and performing code reviews.

- Passionate about software development and delivering high quality applications

- Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills is a must

- Documenting and maintaining application requirements and technical specifications

- Must possess a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative

- Flexibility to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work independently, yet function as an integral part of a team


- Experience with the Microsoft Azure and application infrastructure related activities is preferred.

- The ideal candidate will also have solid experience working backward to understand and solve the pain points of the customers.
