    Overview:


    The Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently seeking an experienced project manager to join their team as a contractor. This role is crucial in leading the planning and execution of digital technology projects that contribute to the achievement of our client's strategic roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with both infrastructure and application development, and will play a pivotal role in driving the success of various projects.



    Basic Qualifications:




    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 5-7 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 7-9 years of project management experience is required.

    • Experience overseeing both infrastructure and software development initiatives within a project management capacity.

    • Proficiency in building and managing schedules using MS Project.

    • strong financial management skills, including forecasting and tracking resource effort and external spend.

    Preferred Experience:




    • Experience working in a government and/or manufacturing environment.

    • Project management experience in the following areas:


      • IT cyber security

      • Infrastructure integrations

      • SAP / ERP

      • Digital Product Lifecycle

      • Business Analytics and applications

      • Cloud solutions

      • Mobile applications

      • Collaboration tools

      • Product Lifecycle Management

      • Supply Chain

    • Familiarity with multiple project methodologies, including waterfall, iterative, and agile Scrum.

    • Experience leading data migration activities.

    • Possession of a Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.

    responsibilities:



    • Effectively communicate and manage the project vision with the project leadership team, ensuring understanding of the project plan, scope, and alignment with the company's commitments and customer expectations.

    • Build highly effective cross-functional project teams and establish strong relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.

    • Communicate expectations clearly and foster accountability among team members.

    • Resolve conflicts, promote collaboration, and motivate teams to work towards common goals.

    • Apply project management principles and methodologies to manage project finances, scope, schedule, risks, and issue resolution, ensuring timely delivery of product capabilities that meet customer requirements.

    • Make informed and timely business decisions aligned with our client's objectives.

    • Summarize and present key information to senior and executive leadership, enabling them to make informed decisions.

    • Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring resource allocation, progress tracking, and adherence to operational objectives through effective project management practices.

    • Actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
