QA Automation Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 7 8 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and automated testing, including exposure to Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. This role involves building automated frameworks, validating secure authentication workflows, and ensuring the reliability and security of IAM-enabled applications.

This opportunity is ideal for a QA engineer looking to expand their expertise in both automation engineering and cybersecurity/IAM testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and IAM-related workflows.
• Validate IAM functionalities including:
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • User provisioning & de-provisioning
  • Access reviews
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Execute regression, integration, functional, and performance testing for IAM-enabled applications.
• Collaborate closely with development, IAM, and security teams to define clear test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Log, track, and retest defects; support root cause analysis and quality improvements.
• Conduct security testing related to IAM features such as session handling, access tokens, permission boundaries, and identity workflows.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Experience

• 5 8 years of experience in QA automation.
• 1 2 years of hands-on experience or exposure to IAM testing or security-focused test scenarios.

Technical Skills

• Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman
• Programming/Scripting: Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
• CI/CD: Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI
• Security Protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT
• IAM Platforms (Exposure/Experience): Okta, Saviynt, SailPoint, One Identity, or similar

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience writing and executing IAM-specific test cases (authentication flows, identity federation, session management, RBAC).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and security testing principles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a security-first mindset.
