Job Title: Applications Architect

Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 + Discretionary Bonus (~10%)

Location: Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley Hybrid (3 Days On-Site Required)

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Applications Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, building, and optimizing high-traffic web applications and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. This role requires close collaboration with Agile Scrum teams (non-supervisory), a proactive approach to tackling challenges, and a willingness to actively contribute to development efforts.

Architect & Develop:

• Design, build, and enhance scalable and efficient web applications using ASP.Net MVC.
• Actively participate in Scrum team development tasks - this role involves contributing directly to coding, not just high-level designs.

Leadership & Mentorship:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to a Scrum team (10+ members).
• Encourage best practices in software design, development, and code reviews.

Collaboration:

• Work in close partnership with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and other developers.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Agile Environment:

• Operate effectively within an Agile Scrum framework, contributing to team success while meeting sprint goals.

Cloud Expertise:

• Leverage AWS for cloud-based solutions (experience with Azure is a plus).
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and availability in cloud-hosted environments.

Requirements

Technical Proficiency:

• Extensive hands-on experience withASP.Net MVCandhigh-traffic websites.
• Solid understanding of best practices in software architecture, performance optimization, and secure coding techniques.

Communication and Leadership:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and lead team discussions.
• A humble, "team-first" attitude-"absolutely no ego."

Agile Experience:

• Proven experience working within an Agile Scrum team environment (10+ team members).
• Familiarity with user stories, sprint planning, and iterative development cycles.

Cloud Proficiency:

• Hands-on expertise withAWS; familiarity withAzureis a bonus but not mandatory.

Hands-On Role:

• This is a highlyhands-onposition. Candidates must be ready to directly work on development tickets and contribute actively to the codebase.
