• Senior/Lead Developer-ALIP

Overview:

We are seeking skilled developers with experience in the ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform) and a strong background in Life Insurance and Annuities. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in our support model, leveraging their expertise to enhance and maintain our ALIP platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• ALIP Development and Support:
• Develop, customize, and maintain applications on the ALIP platform.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ALIP-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the ALIP platform meets business requirements.

Life Insurance and Annuity Expertise:

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuities to enhance platform functionality.
• Ensure that all developments and customizations comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the design and implementation of life insurance and annuity products within the ALIP framework.

Project Management and Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Participate in requirement gathering, analysis, and design sessions.
• Provide regular updates on project status and progress to management.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement within the ALIP platform and suggest innovative solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to ALIP and insurance.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working with the ALIP platform.
• Strong understanding of Life Insurance and Annuity products.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, or similar.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Project management experience or certifications
