We are excited to announce an opening for a Construction Cost Estimator (UPB Specialist) to join our team at JOC Consulting Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze Unit Price Books (UPB) using tools such as RSMeans and Gordian.

  • Prepare detailed construction cost estimates aligned with CSI/MasterFormat standards.

  • Build and maintain large-scale task databases (250,000+ line items).

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure cost accuracy and consistency.

  • Conduct data validation, pricing updates, and continuous improvement of cost models.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in UPB development and construction cost analysis.

  • Strong knowledge of construction cost modeling and estimating principles.

  • Hands-on experience with RSMeans, Gordian, or equivalent cost data systems.

  • Familiarity with CSI/MasterFormat and other standard estimating frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
