Job Description:
- The SharePoint Administrator will support Microsoft SharePoint environments, including SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online.
- The role includes business analysis, technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, solution design, documentation, user guidance, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- The candidate will also support migration efforts, validate data, resolve operational issues, and contribute to the development and implementation of SharePoint solutions.
- University graduation in computer science or a related discipline with relevant experience, or a diploma or certificate in computer science or a related discipline with the required years of relevant experience, or an active professional certification with the required years of experience.
- Experience as a Site Collection Administrator.
- Experience preparing and documenting materials for user acceptance testing.
- Experience troubleshooting all types of forms and workflows.
- Experience using and supporting ShareGate.
- Experience with complex SharePoint projects involving managed metadata, workflows, forms, and user interface customization.
- Experience with the development, integration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
- Experience applying patches and updates to SharePoint environments.
- Experience developing integrated system and technical design specifications for complex engagements.
- Experience using PowerShell to manage farm, application, site collection, and site features.
- Experience with disaster recovery testing.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online administration, reporting, configuration, and administrative tasks.
- Experience working with IT/IM policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Experience using Central Administration in a SharePoint environment.
- Experience upgrading SharePoint environments and migrating content.
- Support SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online environments.
- Perform business analysis and design to create SharePoint solutions.
- Provide first and second-level technical support for SharePoint-related issues.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint site and application issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance including updates, patches, and system configurations.
- Monitor servers, services, and workflows to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies related to SharePoint.
- Perform requirements analysis and complex design using SharePoint components and third-party tools.
- Provide expertise in designing new processes for SharePoint support.
- Guide business users on effective use of SharePoint for content management.
- Validate data to support migration efforts.
- Resolve operational issues with SharePoint.
- Develop and implement solutions individually and as part of the SharePoint operations team.
- Prepare routine reports related to operational duties.
- Work directly with technical staff and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting remote work environments with proper equipment compatibility.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to create user guides and training materials.
- Knowledge of workflows, forms, metadata, and SharePoint architecture.
- Education in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent certification and experience.
