Job Description: Business Management Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Business Management Project Manager to lead a major modernization initiative within the Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project strategies, preparing and presenting updates to executive leadership, and leading efforts to align cross functional teams towards common goals. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic project plans that reflect business objectives and facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and initiatives within the Finance modernization effort.
Prepare and present detailed project updates, challenges, and achievements to executive leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
Facilitate regular meetings to coordinate efforts, gather status updates, and drive consensus among cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of project components, leveraging soft skills to align different parties towards shared objectives.
Identify potential business risks and develop strategic mitigation plans to ensure project success and sustainability.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including executive summaries and strategic progress reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale business transformation or modernization projects.
Demonstrated ability to create and manage strategic project plans and timelines, with a focus on business outcomes.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an emphasis on strategic business aspects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to executive leadership and interact professionally with a various range of stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing finance-related business projects.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, with an emphasis on business agility.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex business-related project issues.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving strategic business goals.
