Description
Coordinate with the appropriate teams to track all deployed and non-deployed issued EUC Devices
Maintain appropriate inventories of EUC Devices and peripherals to ensure timely deployment of devices as needed.
Recommend replenishment of inventories to the head of End User Computing
Prepare EUC Devices for deployment including ensuring that Operating Systems are up to date and patched, appropriate software is loaded and up to date and that device is asset tagged.
Coordinate with HR to reclaim EUC devices from departing personnel, ensuring data on reclaimed devices is backed up as needed and the device is subsequently wiped and prepared for redeployment.
Coordinate with the End User Support Team to issue new EUC devices in exchange for damaged devices and to coordinate repair or replacement of the damaged devices with applicable Third Party Vendors.
Perform first and second level IT support related activities on incidents and requests with technologies and services (e.g. desktops/laptops, email, phones, printers, tablets etc.) as needed.
Escalate incidents and/or requests to the appropriate resource(s) to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain technical documentation where appropriate.
Participate in department and business level projects as needed to ensure timely execution of technology initiatives and strategies.
Perform other duties as requested and/or assigned within area of expertise.
Completed or able to complete Dell TechDirect and HP certified technical Service Qualification training.
1-3 years experience with endpoint management software such as SCCM, Intune, Etc.
1-3 years experience with current versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Familiar with networking technologies and concepts. Understanding of the role routers, switches, and firewalls play. Basic IP knowledge and understanding of wireless networking.
