Location : Houston, TX (Onsite)
Duration : Long term Contract

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with strong expertise in Application Management Services (AMS) and production support in SAP BTP. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, managing incidents, handling service requests, performing enhancements, and coordinating with business users and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident & Problem Management:
---> Handle day-to-day SAP incidents, service requests, and problem tickets.
--- > Analyse recurring issues and propose permanent fixes.
--- > Maintain SLA compliance for ticket resolution.
Change & Enhancement Management:
--- > Gather business requirements and deliver minor enhancements and change requests.
--- > Conduct functional/technical impact analysis and regression testing.
--- > Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP or integration teams.
User & Business Support:
--- > Provide L2/L3 support to end users across business functions.
---> Conduct user training, knowledge-sharing, and documentation updates.
--- > Engage in monthly business connect sessions to identify improvement opportunities.
System monitoring & Optimization:
--- > Perform system health checks, job monitoring, and data consistency checks.
--- > Suggest technical and process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
Governance & Reporting:
--- > Track metrics like SLA adherence, ticket trends, and user satisfaction.
--- > Participate in weekly/monthly governance meetings and provide status reports.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 5 years in Support/AMS roles.
- Expertise in one or more SAP modules: HCM, or Basis/Technical.
- Expertise on SAP BTP infrastructure and Hyperscale s.
- Strong knowledge of incident/change management processes (ITIL framework).
- Experience in integration points between SAP modules and external systems.
- Proficiency in preparing functional/technical specifications and performing UAT.
- Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
Ability to work in 24x7 support model or rotational shifts if required
Nice to Have:
- Experience in SAP Cloud or BTP integration scenarios.
Certification in relevant SAP module(s) or ITIL
