Job Details
Baer is looking for SAP S4 Project Systems & Fixed Assets Consultant for a 6+ month remote project
Title: SAP S4 Project Systems & Fixed Assets Consultant
Location: Remote with travel to Indianapolis (up to 1 week/month)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:
- Configure and support SAP Fixed Assets Accounting (FI-AA), including Asset master data, Asset classes, Depreciation areas and Integrated asset acquisitions, retirements, transfers, and AUC settlement
- Configure and support SAP Project Systems (PS): Project structures (WBS, networks, activities), Settlement to assets and Integration with Investment Management, where applicable
- Lead and participate in solution confirmation workshops for global design in FI-AA and PS
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, utilizing Universal Journal and Fiori apps
- Collaborate with Controlling, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end process integration
- Support unit, integration, and UAT testing; resolve defects and validate reporting
- Assist with data migration strategy and execution (asset masters, balances, project structures)
- Contribute to cutover planning, training content, and end-user testing
Requirements:
- 5+ years of SAP Finance experience with strong focus on FI-AA and PS
- At least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation in FI-AA and/or PS
- Strong configuration experience in asset accounting and project settlement
- Understanding of integration between FI-AA/PS and CO, Procurement, and Investment Management
- Excellent communication, documentation, and testing skills in a client-facing environment
- Bonus: Experience with Universal Parallel Accounting and New Asset Accounting in S/4HANA
