ETRM Support Analyst - Houston, TX

Location: On-site, Houston (3-4 days per week)
Duration: 12+ months | Long-term

iSphere is seeking an ETRM Support Analyst to keep the wheels turning smoothly in one of Houston s most dynamic trading environments. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the high-energy world of energy trading someone who enjoys being the go-to problem solver when traders, risk analysts, and back-office teams need fast, reliable support.

You ll be on the front line of ETRM operations, helping ensure trades are captured accurately, data flows cleanly through the system, and day-to-day operations run without a hitch.

What You ll Do

Provide hands-on functional support for ETRM systems across front, middle, and back-office teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to trade capture, pricing, risk, and settlements.
Act as a bridge between business users and IT communicating clearly and following issues through to resolution.
Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot breaks between trading, risk, and accounting systems.
Support end-of-day and month-end activities, including P&L validation and reconciliation.
Identify recurring issues, propose solutions, and help implement process improvements.

What You Bring

3-7 years of experience supporting energy trading, risk, or operations environments.
Hands-on experience with Zainet, Aligne (formerly Zainet), or other ETRM/CTRM systems.
A solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, risk reporting, and settlements.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills you re the one who connects the dots when things don t add up.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with traders, risk managers, and IT.
Highly organized with great attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfortable working on-site 3-4 days per week in a collaborative trading floor setting.

Bonus Points For

Familiarity with energy commodities like power, gas, oil, or renewables.
Understanding of P&L, exposure management, or market data flows.
Experience supporting front or middle office teams in a trading environment.
