Information Systems Analyst

Location: Portage, MI REMOTE

W2 Contract - 52 Weeks

We are looking for a skilled Information Systems Analyst to join our team in Portage, Michigan. As an individual contributor, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and implementing IT solutions that align with business needs. This long-term contract position requires independent judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate system requirements and business processes to identify areas for improvement.

Develop and implement IT solutions through the adaptation of new and existing applications.

Design and maintain systems architecture to support organizational goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure network systems and applications infrastructure meet operational needs.

Write, test, debug, and deploy software solutions with attention to quality and efficiency.

Use attention to detail to modify and enhance applications based on user feedback.

Ensure adherence to procedures while making informed decisions using practical experience.

Provide technical guidance and support to ensure smooth system functionality.

Review and refine business process functions to optimize performance.

Conduct regular assessments of IT systems to maintain reliability and security.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong knowledge of system architecture and network systems.
Proficiency in coding, testing, and debugging software solutions.
Familiarity with business processes and procedures.
Ability to work independently and make thoughtful, detail-oriented decisions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with information systems and application infrastructure.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders.
