Job Details

Torch Technologies is seeking experienced candidates to provide program management and reverse engineering, technology uplift, and/or hardware test and analysis support in support of Scientific and Technical (S&T) missions. In this role, candidates must be familiar with military equipment, missile weapon systems, hardware testing and test programs. Candidates will provide technical leadership and recommend updates or corrections in program execution, technical applications and analysis. Candidates will support DOD programs and must be familiar with developing and applying testing methods in the investigation and solution of complex advanced hardware and test software applications related to weapon systems.

Additionally, candidates will use experience with foreign weapon systems and expertise in hardware testing in support of efforts to further develop business relationships and pursuits. The candidate will demonstrate a proficiency in managing strategies, schedules, and deliverables and be adept at leveraging capabilities between a multiplicity of hardware, software, and systems products and applications. Preferred candidates will have experience managing test programs and analyst teams in direct support of DOD programs and have experience with one or more of the following
  • Developing and executing test strategies
  • Leading hardware test projects/programs
  • Experience in DOD program testing
  • Characterization of threat weapon systems
  • Weapon system integration and technology refresh

The selected individual will also be asked to support senior leadership in defining, developing, and achieving business goals and objectives. They will assist in managing groups within the organization whose work ranges across various disciplines within the Army and broader DOD community.
  • Provide leadership to employees.
  • Work with Division and Directorate Managers to ensure that areas are executing to plans and customer support is on track.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and ensure performance exceeds expectations.
  • Routinely target and initiate contact with major prospective customers to foster new or recurring business opportunities.


Job Requirements

BS degree or higher in engineering, math, or physics from an accredited university with 10 or more years of experience. The preferred candidate will have 10 or more years leadership experience in one or more of the following areas
  • DOD test programs
  • Missile weapon systems
  • Threat weapon systems
  • Program office support

Position requires that candidate obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance in order to access classified information systems. Inability to obtain or maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Travel may be required for this position.
