We are looking for a results-driven Senior Functional Consultant to become part of our team. This role will be responsible for gathering requirements, solution design, problem solving, and JD Edwards system configuration. It requires deep knowledge of the manufacturing module business processes and have the ability to advise the business stakeholders on process strategy as well as optimal implementation design to enable an effective implementation of J.D. Edwards. Strong familiarity with the J.D. Edwards data structures, menu configuration, UDC, Version Lists, functional configurations and overall process functionality are required for this position.

What you will do:

Our Senior Functional Consultants are the team members that lead the business process development and provide the JD Edwards configuration to enable the business process to flow smoothly in the system. We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated individual that can lead business teams through the process design and system configuration activities to meet specific business requirements and provide business value.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview business users to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and document current business process definitions.
  • Writes detailed description of business needs / requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Identify and recommend areas of process improvements by analyzing industry and applying best practices.
  • Develop gap analysis and recommendation of defined business processes.
  • Data mapping, population and accuracy including obtaining business sign-off for audit and compliancy purposes.
  • Deep knowledge of the manufacturing module business processes and have the ability to advise the business stakeholders on process strategy as well as optimal implementation design to enable an effective implementation of J.D. Edwards.
  • Strong familiarity with the J.D. Edwards data structures, menu configuration, UDC, Version Lists, functional configurations, and overall process functionality.
  • Security design working with the business including obtaining sign-off for audit and compliancy purposes.
  • Building and managing test plans including obtaining business sign-off for audit and compliancy purposes.
  • User training and acceptance.
  • Stays current and demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist.
  • Provides cross functional training to other staff members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree required.
  • 7 - 10 years plus in ERP implementation experience with Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One version Xe-9.2 in the E1 Manufacturing module.
  • 10+ years working in a business functional area or with IT systems.
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
