    Our client in the logistics space is looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join the organization. This company has been in business for over 150+ years continuously reinventing and reinvesting in the organization. The CIO is responsible for the oversight of world class, cutting-edge digital solutions, including, but not limited to, the organization, operating model, budget and technologies for cloud-based software, databases, and platforms. The ideal candidate is a former hands-on professional who enjoys working with internal and external customers to achieve goals, meet expected levels of service, prevent security risks, and increase customer and employee satisfaction. This position is also responsible for overseeing strategic digital initiatives.

    Primary Responsibilities

    · Oversee strategic technological business initiatives from inception through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads.

    · Manage an overall IT budget encompassing all IT services provided to the enterprise.

    · Provide technology consultation for internal IT teams and internal (business) customers.

    · Oversee daily operations of IT functions through collaboration with senior leadership and department heads, performing an array of strategic tasks from planning, prioritization, and sequencing of key corporate objectives, business case development, and ensuring excellence in execution and evaluation.

    o Digital innovation and custom software development

    o Enterprise system implementations and configuration

    o IT Infrastructure and network administration

    o IT Support and Service Desk functions

    o Data Integration and Analytics

    · Collaborate closely with internal and external teams throughout the end-to-end solution development process.

    · Serve as liaison between staff, managers, and senior leaders regarding company climate, employee engagement, project updates, proposals, and planning.

    · Review, design, and execute on improvements to technical resource upskilling; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.

    · Build relationships with all stakeholders for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with executives on related ongoing projects.
