JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Manager leads strategic marketing efforts for Nabors Drilling, and Nabors Drilling Solutions (NDS) business units and product lines.

We believe digital and automated solutions are the future of drilling. Accordingly, Nabors has established a portfolio of technologies that can be deployed on any AC rig, Nabors or non-Nabors, to elevate drilling performance.

The candidate will be the main protagonist for Nabors? rig fleet and the people and transformative technologies that differentiate us from our peers and make us the global driller of choice.

Broader adoption and utilization of our digital and automated solutions is key to achieving Nabors growth goals, so the Senior Marketing Manager / Marketing Manager will design and executive impactful marketing programs to support these initiatives and be a key player in achieving the broader business goal of increasing technology adoption.

Primary focus areas include, but are not limited to:

DIGITAL SOLUTIONS

RigCLOUD, a subsidiary of Nabors, is an open platform for digital operations in the oilfield, providing advanced rig instrumentation, analytics and automation applications to a global customer base. RigCLOUD hosts a wide variety of drilling applications on the cloud and at the rigsite through high-end edge computing.

The candidate would lead marketing efforts for RigCLOUD, working in close collaboration with the business, subject matter experts and brand team to strategically build awareness and help convert interest and desire to revenue.

AUTOMATION

Nabors is the global leader in drilling automation, having built and deployed the world?s first fully automated land rig in 2021 and fully automated an existing high-spec land rig in 2022. Our performance drilling offerings and Smart Suite of drilling automation solutions are engineered to consistently and safely produce superior results for Nabors and non-Nabors rigs.

The candidate would lead marketing efforts for our ecosystem of drilling automation and performance tools, working in close collaboration with Nabors stakeholders as well as any third-party customers to grow and sustain sales of our solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of 2-3 to plan, execute and quantify value of global, integrated marketing programs
  • Develop strong relationships and collaborate with the sales team, product line managers, executives and customers
  • Design and deliver measurable digital campaigns that leverage paid, earned, shared and owned content
  • Curate collections of marketing brochures, case studies, presentations and other content
  • Pursue media opportunities (interview, by-lines, op-eds) with the trade press and help prepare executives
  • Lead trade show planning, organizing resources and teams to maximize visibility and effectiveness of our participation
  • Guide and support product teams in the development and submission of abstracts and technical papers
  • Oversee a social media content calendar and paid targeting campaigns
  • Contribute to the production of videos, animations and graphics
  • Perform data analyses and data entry to support sales and marketing projects
  • Design and conduct global customer surveys
  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

? BS/BA in Marketing or related field of study

? 7 years or more of marketing experience (in-house or agency)

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Excellent time management and planning/forecasting skills.

? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

? Experience managing websites and social media ? primarily, LinkedIn and Twitter.

? Strong business acumen

? Ability to travel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

? Energy industry experience is a plus, but not required

? Master?s in Business Administration (MBA)

? Experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce

? Experience with Sales Enablement solutions, preferably Highspot

? Experience with WordPress

? Moderate to Advanced comfortability with Microsoft Excel
