We are looking for a talented Senior Identity and Directory Engineer I to enhance our identity management framework using Entra ID/Azure AD. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our identity and access management systems, ensuring secure and seamless access to applications and data.
You will work closely with IT, infrastructure, security, and application teams to develop and enforce identity governance policies, troubleshoot access issues, and implement best practices for user provisioning and de-provisioning. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Entra ID/Azure AD and its integration with cloud services, along with a passion for improving user experience.
What you will do:
Engineer, deploy, operationalize, maintain, and support tools associated with Entra ID / Azure AD / on-premises Active Directory. Contribute to the engineering and support of Entra ID as needed. Contribute to team efforts related to Entra ID/Azure AD, SSO, Multifactor Authentication, Cloud integrations, Privileged Access management, Identity Management, Governance, and Protection. Communicate service enhancements and operational efficiency directions, features and roadmaps aligned to the roadmap. Providing technical leadership to others with less knowledge or experience. Liaise with, train, and support operational teams. Assist in technology evaluations and guiding proof of concepts. Design, develop, and implement technical solutions as part of our Directory and Identity Management strategy to meet risk and compliance regulations while enabling employees and customers. Collaborate with other engineering teams to design appropriate identity and directory management solutions to ensure seamless integration. Partner with cross-functional teams to assess and address security risks across our landscape.

What we expect of you:
BS Degree and 5 years of Information Technology Engineering experience, OR 10 years of information Technology Engineering experience.
Design and implement security measures, policies, and controls to safeguard Entra ID and Active Directory services in the cloud environment.
Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of Entra ID and Active Directory services in the cloud.
Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Entra ID and Active Directory services.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Entra ID, Active Directory, M365, and Azure technologies.
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences for the understanding of all involved.
Ability to work collaboratively to identify and solve problems.
Dedication to continuous improvement, security process engineering, and operational excellence
Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to support migration and ongoing operations.
Experience with identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions, proven experience implementing MFA solutions in a large, complex environment
Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Entra ID and Active Directory services in both on-premises and cloud environments
Proficiency in scripting languages (eg, PowerShell) for automation and configuration management tasks
Proven experience as an Entra ID Engineer, Active Directory Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on cloud migration and Azure integration
Experience with Azure AD Connect, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting in hybrid identity environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
Kusto/KQL query set knowledge/Experience, a plus.
Intermediate - Advance PowerShell scripting, a plus.
Expertise in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), a plus.
Familiarity with regularly compliance regulations (PCI, SOX, ISO, NIST), a plus.
ITIL certification, a plus.
Technical certifications associated with the chosen professional track, such as Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate, a plus.
Experience with ServiceNow, a plus.
