Job Title: Business Analyst (Airtable Specialist)(W2 Only)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with strong experience in Airtable to help design, optimize, and automate business workflows. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, using Airtable and related tools to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization.
Design, build, and maintain Airtable databases, interfaces, automations, and integrations.
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments (e.g., operations, marketing, sales, product).
Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations within Airtable or integrated tools (e.g., Interface Designer, Softr, Make, Zapier).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with strategic goals.
Manage Airtable user permissions, data integrity, and governance standards.
Train team members on Airtable usage and best practices.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Support broader data and analytics initiatives, including migrating or integrating Airtable data with other platforms (e.g., Google Sheets, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
2 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or similar role.
Proven hands-on experience building and managing complex Airtable systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and basic data analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred:
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make/Integromat).
Familiarity with API integrations and basic scripting (JavaScript, Python).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
