CAPTURE TECHNICIAN INTERN
What You'll Do

Epic Games is searching for an intern who loves video games, is a problem solver and has a technical mindset. You'll work with multiple teams to support video capture efforts across our entire Fortnite ecosystem! Your efforts will allow us to deliver best-in-class marketing videos at the highest quality possible to the masses. An understanding of general troubleshooting, including the knowledge of creating and tracking tickets, are important as well as working with multiple people across multiple productions to ship amazing video content.
In this role, you will
  • Manage bug reporting and tracking through a ticketing system (JIRA) to ensure accurate documentation and resolution of issues
  • Facilitate cosmetic grants for external partners' accounts
  • Work in Unreal Engine 5 and Unreal Editor for Fortnite
  • Employ internal systems to compile and test pre-release builds, ensuring quality and stability for marketing videos
  • Assist with the maintenance and management of multiple hosted backend systems critical for build execution and deployment
What we're looking for
  • Experience logging defects in bug tracking systems such as JIRA
  • Proficient in using Windows with a broad understanding of its functionalities
  • Basic understanding of game engines (Unreal Engine is a plus)
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar) knowledge
  • Degree work in CS or related field

This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
