ZP Group is currently hiring a Marketing Associate based out of our McLean, VA location. This role will be primarily onsite with some remote flexibility.
The Marketing Associate will be responsible planning and implementing digital and content marketing effort for Piper Companies. We're looking for a creative, strategy driven individual with exceptional writing skills, who loves the rewarding challenge of building a brand. This role will be tasked with, but not limited to, strategic social media management, developing compelling content (both written and visual), event planning, writing/editing corporate communications, leading internal marketing campaigns, etc. This includes assisting the production of, fact sheets, social media posts, presentations, videos, photos, infographics, digital signage, email, and branded SWAG. This role will work cross-functionally with internal departments, creative resources, and assist in managing outside vendors to achieve the objectives set forth in the strategic marketing plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and drive marketing initiatives through visual and written content
• Implement Piper's digital media strategy by drafting and developing content across all social platforms (ex. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Google, Vimeo, etc.)
• Consult and deploy robust promotional materials or project deliverables for business development and sales teams (ex. updating sales presentations, drafting LinkedIn posts, capabilities summaries, etc.)
• Work independently to write and edit copy for all communications and digital platforms (ex. copy writing and proofing of mass emails, print material, website, etc.)
• Lead internal and external team's compliance with content calendar
• Project management of various communication initiatives, including collateral and asset development
• Provide logistical support with event coordination, conference planning, and production of company video/photo shoots
• Monitor, measure, analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and use this information to redesign and provide suggestions for change in the organizational initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (ideally with a focus in media, graphic design, photography, or PR)
• 4+ years of professional experience in a Marketing role (within the recruiting industry or a B2B firm would be a plus)
• 2+ year(s) project managing and implementing strategic brand initiatives (nice to have)
• Ability to creatively write for several different audiences (excellent writing skills are required)
• Proven work history managing and implementing a corporate social media strategy (must have Instagram and LinkedIn experience)
• Creative with a strong sense of visual design and user engagement
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; experience in Photoshop and InDesign (Premiere Pro is plus)
• Experience working with a web CMS (WordPress or SharePoint is a plus)
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics, ability to generate reports is a plus
• Excellent project management, multitasking and decision-making skills
• Self-starter who can work through ambiguity to analyze and prioritize incoming tasks
