SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Supply Technician to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is an unparalleled opportunity to play a vital role in the execution of all defense acquisition CAC2S Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tasks for the next-generation USMC aircraft command and control suite. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting with the acquisition, distribution, allocation, delivery, and disposal of all C4ISR Government Furnished Property (GFP) / Government Furnished Material (GFM) associated with the project.
As a Supply Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the program's Integrated Master Schedule objectives are met. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate Movement of GFP/GFM: Ensure all C4ISR GFP is accounted for and documented per Department of Defense guidelines, and that all required documentation is prepared and delivered as specified in the program Statement of Work.
- Material Procurement Support: Solicit quotes from vendors, research primary and alternative material solutions and part information, complete procurement requests, and track the status of all procurements.
- Develop and Maintain Accountability Processes: Implement and manage material movement processes, conduct inventory validation (cycle counting), and ensure compliance with GFP/GFM accountability standards.
- Status Updates and Reporting: Provide timely and accurate updates and reports on assigned tasks.
- GFP/GFM Reports Maintenance: Maintain monthly GFP/GFM reports, including shipping/receiving reports, spares/repair reports, and Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) trackers.
- Local Material Movement: Manage the local movement of materials in accordance with project and supporting element needs.
- CMPro Management: Oversee shipping, receiving, and procurement processes within CMPro.
- FIAR Compliance: Ensure material compliance with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) processes and procedures. Stay updated on new processes and attend Quarterly FIAR meetings.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Five (5) years of experience, including roles such as supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility, financial management, and logistics support for projects involving electronic/electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment, and resources.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics principles, practices, and processes.
- Familiarity with conducting material procurements, market research, National Stock Numbers research, and USMC provisioning requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of NIWC CMPro processes and workflows.
- Proficiency with DoD inventory/logistics management tools for input and tracking of material.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Power Automate, OneNote, and OneDrive.
- Strong attention to detail, a robust work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
