Job Title - Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect
Location's -Strongsville, OH Preferred #1 & Pittsburgh, PA Preferred #2
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the enterprise-wide adoption and governance of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). This role drives architecture, standards, platform alignment, and service-centric design across ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, SPM/APM, and SACM.
Key Responsibilities
CSDM & CMDB Architecture
Own and maintain enterprise CSDM blueprint
Publish prescriptive modeling guidance
Enforce configuration-over-customization
Service Modeling & Mapping
Lead Service Mapping strategy
Align Application Services & Technical CIs to CSDM
SPM/APM Integration
Align portfolios, business apps, services, and capabilities
Enable SPM & APM analytics through CSDM consistency
Data Governance & Quality
Define data ownership & stewardship
Implement quality gates and governance controls
Integration & Compliance
Architect CMDB/CSDM data integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub)
Ensure model compliance across platform teams
Technical Leadership
Serve as design authority
Produce architecture artifacts
Mentor engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture / platform engineering
5+ years implementing CSDM & CMDB at scale
Proven delivery of OOB ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, APM, SACM
Expertise in Service Mapping, Discovery, CI class modeling
Strong integrations (REST/SOAP), data modeling & pipeline governance
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow CSA, CIS (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB/Discovery, SPM/APM)
CAD ServiceNow Application Developer
ITIL v4 Foundation

Role Summary (General Solution Architect)
- Member of delivery team for new development & production support
Capture business requirements & technical specifications
Build scalable enterprise technology solutions
Create design artifacts, ensure production readiness
Work with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment
Support roadmaps (0 60 months)
Participate in POCs, prototypes, R&D initiatives
Provide LOEs, WBS, and technical resource planning
Ensure adherence to EA standards throughout SDLC
Act as technical owner in production
Perform health checks, monitoring, capacity reviews
Support ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge)
Mentor junior technical team members
Skills Required
- Strong SOA/Middleware integration experience
Modeling reusable business objects/services
Deep understanding of enterprise architecture
J2EE servers: WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Spring
TIBCO, Informatica (PowerCenter, IDQ)
SOA, ESB, JMS, XML, Web Services
Data structures & warehousing (preferred)
Minimum Education / Experience
- BS in CS, IS, or related field
8+ years IS/Engineering/Systems Analysis
4+ years J2EE application server deployments
4+ years SOA/ESB/Web Services integration
