Position Title: Salesforce CPQ Developer
Job Location: USA Remote
Joining Mode: Long Term Contract
Note: W2 Candidate Only
Job Description:
- Design and development: Develop and implement custom CPQ solutions, leveraging best practices to meet business requirements for quoting, pricing, and product bundles.
- Customization: Customize and extend Salesforce CPQ using Apex, Triggers, Batch Classes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Integration: Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce clouds and external systems using APIs and various authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintenance and support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and conduct code reviews and optimizations.
- Documentation: Prepare technical and end-user documentation.
Required qualifications
- Experience: Typically requires several years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a specific amount of time dedicated to Salesforce CPQ implementation and development.
- Technical skills:
o Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
o Experience with Salesforce declarative tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
o Familiarity with CPQ features such as product bundles, pricing rules, discount schedules, and quote templates.
- Certifications:
o Salesforce Platform Developer I is often required, with Platform Developer II and CPQ Specialist being preferred.
Soft skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred.
Desired qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments.
- Experience with advanced configuration engines like Logik.io.
- Knowledge of the broader Salesforce Revenue Cloud suite, including Salesforce Billing.
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and their integration.
