About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead initiatives that enhance CI/CD and ETL frameworks across cloud data engineering platforms. This position combines strategic leadership, technical depth, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver automation and scalability in data-driven environments.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and data pipeline management, while providing technical guidance and product direction to engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
< data-start="1203" data-end="1230">Program Leadership</>Drive strategic initiatives to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and ETL frameworks for cloud-native data platforms.
Define and execute roadmaps that align with enterprise data engineering and DevOps strategies.
Partner with data engineers, DevOps teams, and architects to ensure seamless delivery and performance.
Oversee architecture and implementation of Airflow DAGs, Spark jobs, and data workflows on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Ensure CI/CD pipelines are reliable, scalable, and support continuous integration and deployment for data applications.
Implement automation, monitoring, and observability best practices across the data ecosystem.
Lead and mentor engineers focused on automation, tooling, and infrastructure.
Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Manage delivery schedules, risks, dependencies, and governance standards.
Drive agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and program reporting using Jira and Confluence.
Monitor KPIs to assess progress, resource utilization, and continuous improvement.
Champion engineering best practices for code quality, security, and release management.
Must-Have Skills
8+ years of experience in technical program management or product management.
At least 3+ years in cloud data engineering or DevOps pipeline management.
Proven expertise with CI/CD pipeline design and ETL automation.
Hands-on experience with Airflow, Spark, and data orchestration tools.
Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or DataOps frameworks.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Background in software engineering, data architecture, or DevOps leadership.
