What you'll do:

responsibilities:
- System Management: Oversee software installations, updates, patches, and ensure robust security measures to maintain system integrity and uptime.
- Database Administration: Administer database backups and manage SQL/Oracle databases, ensuring compliance with data security standards and backup policies.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support and resolve system issues, ensuring high uptime and a smooth user experience.
- Configuration & Feature Development: Configure applications, develop new system features, and lead efforts to roll out system updates effectively.
- System Analysis & Optimization: Perform system testing, conduct performance analysis, and lead post-implementation reviews to ensure systems run at optimal levels.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support for critical production systems during out-of-business hours and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate system documentation, and generate reports to support audits and compliance initiatives

qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Experience: 6+ years in programming, system analysis, and managing enterprise software systems, especially ERP platforms like PeopleSoft or UKG.

- Expertise in database management (SQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with web development technologies (ASP, SQL).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP).

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in user training and support.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
