Job Title: Business System Analyst

Location: Marlborough, MA (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead in-house user groups to monitor system changes, enhancements and improvements.
• Work closely with the business leaders to identify operations / manufacturing business requirements and then translate into technical specifications
• Review, analyze and create documentation of operations business systems and user needs including workflow and program functions
• Coordinate and perform the testing of configuration or programming changes
• Lead deployment and maintenance of ERP system functionality and business intelligence/reporting strategy to increase business productivity, reporting in operations
• Develop detailed test scripts, unit test programming changes and generate use case scenarios
• Gather user requirements, recommend and implement solutions for current ERP or other 3rd party business systems.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support and troubleshooting for production control and traceability platform. Provide day to day user support.
• Works with end-users, troubleshoots issues, and provides ongoing production support and works with database administrator and programmers Directly assist manufacturing and production teams with support and troubleshooting.
• Resolve helpdesk issues and prevent future recurrence.
• Support product upgrades and projects, including active engagement in testing of new features and functionality.
• Coordinate and assist with end-user training including development of system documentation and training materials.
• Develop on-going reports needed by the business to improve information and decision making.
• Works with minimum supervision, decisions are made based on pre-established policies and procedures by ERP Manager

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in IT or business systems related project implementation
• Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics NAV 2017 (or higher) or Equivalent ERP
• Experience with support in a manufacturing environment, including processes, systems and terminology.
• Effective communication with other departments to ensure proactive support and administration, including support for new product rollouts.
• Ability to document current functionality and process flows, and suggest areas for future improvement.
• Ability to effectively multitask and to perform with a sense of urgency for rapid issue resolution.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
• Moderate knowledge of building SQL queries or equivalent ERP queries and troubleshooting
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations or project demands.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Analytic tools preferred.
