 Position Duties/Responsibilities:

STG is a Preferred Vendor of a major Automotive Firm in MI. The client is actively looking for multiple (Manufacturing) Desktop Support Technician. These positions are based in MI, OH, IL & IN for a large Fortune 500 Automotive firm. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Responsibilities: Manufacturing ICT In-plant user support provides technical and project related support for plant ICT applications and daily activities for the ICT Complex. Review, analyze, and evaluate various systems operations. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure timely resolution. Performs advance root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems. Provide technical support on a variety of issues. Training for site specific knowledge will be provided via local training and hands-on experience (all personnel will be expected to become versed in site specific knowledge through these methods). Shift work, weekend and holiday work, and overtime will be required.

Requirement:

  • Working experience with latest Windows software’s
  • Working experience with MAC Software’s
  • Basic Network troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of Laptop and PC architecture
  • Ability to load software (Windows corporate slam)
  • In depth Troubleshooting
  • Use and administration of Active Directory
  • Use and administration of ADMIN.NET
  • Mobile Device including Android and iPhone Support
  • Basic networking (LAN and Wireless). Active Directory. CAD, Teamcenter. -This is a customer-facing role. Candidates must have experience with face-to-face customer service preferably in a technical environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate to all user community in written and verbal form.
  • Basic printer knowledge and Basic Troubleshooting Skills
  • Ability to work with Vendors and Suppliers
  • Basic security Knowledge - Patching and security updates (Windows, HPDM, etc.)
  • Required Bachelor Degree
