- Define canonical data models and integration patterns for both MRM and Deal Workflow.
- Collaborate with MuleSoft and other middleware teams to ensure robust API and ETL strategies.
2. Data Strategy & Governance
- Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across systems.
- Define and document data lineage, transformation logic, and integration mappings.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
3. Project Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with Salesforce PMs and TPMs to align architectural decisions with project milestones.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and roadmap discussions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and integration engineers.
4. Performance Optimization & Monitoring
- Design and implement performance monitoring strategies for data flows and integrations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and optimization of slow-running queries, API calls, and data syncs.
- Support post-go-live performance tuning and continuous improvement efforts.
5. Documentation & Communication
- Create detailed architecture diagrams, data flow documentation, and integration specs.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Support audit readiness and compliance documentation efforts.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and integration.
- 5+ years of experience with SAP (Vistex preferred) and enterprise data systems.
- Proven experience with Conga CLM, MuleSoft, and other integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning, SOQL, and Salesforce data architecture.
- Experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies and tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
