Job Title: Project Lead / Product Manager
Location: 100% Remote

Job Description:
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Lead / Product Manager to lead and manage enterprise-level projects. This role will primarily focus on projects involving .NET applications and Alfresco-based enterprise content management systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership, excellent communication, and in-depth knowledge of Agile practices, along with experience working within state agencies like TEA.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex IT projects with multiple stakeholders and systems integrations
Drive enhancements and maintenance of Alfresco-based ECM platforms
Oversee .NET application project lifecycle, from planning to delivery
Collaborate with agency leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure project success
Track budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial compliance with state standards
Develop and maintain project documentation including status reports, timelines, and contract deliverables
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support iterative delivery practices
Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams
Ensure alignment with TEA standards, contract requirements, and quality benchmarks
Minimum Requirements:
6+ years of direct project management experience across large-scale IT initiatives
6+ years of experience managing enterprise content management (ECM) projects
Experience managing and delivering .NET-based application projects
Experience with state budget planning and expense tracking
Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Proven ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders and project teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification (active)
3+ years of experience working with TEA or other Texas/state agencies
Hands-on experience with Alfresco customization and AMP packaging
Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) certification
Experience developing contract-related documentation and monitoring contract performance
Flexible to support project needs outside standard working hours when required.
