Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite technical lead for SFCC B2C development and customer engagements.
  • Lead requirement discussions, solution design sessions, and technical clarifications with the customer.
  • Drive architecture evaluations, propose technical design approaches, and ensure scalability and performance.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Review offshore deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to SFCC best practices.
  • Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively.
  • Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C) development.
  • Deep knowledge of OCAPI (Shop & Data APIs), Controllers, Scripts, ISML, Jobs, and SiteGenesis/SFRA frameworks.
  • Good understanding of Java concepts to support backend integrations and assess technical feasibility.
  • Ability to contribute to both frontend and backend development (full-stack approach).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with onsite stakeholders and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Retail/eCommerce domain with large-scale feature development and implementations.
  • Knowledge of SFCC integrations with third-party systems (payment, OMS, search, etc.).
  • Exposure to performance optimization, caching strategies, and scalability enhancements.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts, headless commerce, or modern frontend frameworks (nice to have).

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The salary range displays the minimum and maximum targets for this position across all US locations and has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, or variable bonus programs. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
