Currently, we are searching for a Primavera P6 Scheduler to join our team in a 100% remote capacity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 for capital projects, substation upgrades, transmission/distribution line work, generation, and outage activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to gather progress data and maintain accurate schedule logic and dependencies.
- Monitor schedule performance, perform critical path analysis, and identify potential delays or risks.
- Support outage and maintenance scheduling, ensuring alignment with system operations and grid reliability requirements.
- Develop what-if and scenario analyses to assess the impact of changes or resource constraints.
- Prepare and present schedule reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards to project and executive leadership.
- Integrate schedules with cost tracking, earned value, and risk management processes.
- Maintain documentation of schedule baselines, updates, and revisions in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Support project controls and PMO teams with schedule audits, variance analysis, and time impact assessments.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal departments to ensure consistency and accuracy across all project schedules.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3 8 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls within the power utilities or energy industry.
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (Professional or EPPM).
- Solid understanding of power utility operations, outage management, and capital project delivery processes.
- Knowledge of transmission/distribution systems, substations, or generation projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology (CPM) and earned value management (EVM).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or similar analytical tools for data reporting and visualization.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and interface effectively with both technical and field personnel.
- Familiarity with utility regulatory requirements and NERC/FERC compliance considerations.
- Regular and predictable attendance
