Position: Project Manager (Cyber Security)
Location: Poughkeepsie, New York Onsite

Job Description:
Required: Strong experience in project managing and delivery of cyber security projects. Bachelor's degree preferably in information technology, computer science, business, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, SDLC, or Agile certification. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices. 7 years of experience managing projects within a matrixed or co-sourced environment. Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, and assertiveness. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to present comfortably to large groups. Strong relationship-building skills and experience providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Valid driver's license.

Preferred: Experience in energy utilities or services industry. Experience with cybersecurity tools. Master's degree in related fields. Experience with PPM tools, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar. Experience in risk management, threat intelligence, and incident response. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or comparable.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills to facilitate collaborative project deliveries and promote the value of project management across the organization.
Manage vendor relationships throughout project duration and collaborate with vendor implementation resources to ensure alignment of expectations and deliverables.
Collaborate with stakeholders to produce project artifacts appropriate to each project life-cycle stage (scope, schedule, design, budget, test plan, communication plan, training plan, deployment plan, run plan, change control).
Drive discussions on risks, opportunities, issues, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, and decision points, and develop corresponding action plans.
Lead organizational change management plans for effective communication and adoption.
Comply with Central Hudson's project management standards for Waterfall and Agile frameworks to achieve predictable performance and delivery excellence.
Provide effective status reporting with the appropriate level of actionable detail for executive, sponsor-level, and project team recipients.
Create and maintain accurate project budgets and actively manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Execute proper change-control processes to provide transparency and effectively manage scope, schedule, and cost.
Leverage project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, PPM, and budgeting software to ensure high-quality project delivery.
