Job Duties
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technolutions Slate Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Admissions/Enrollment Management and be proficient in configuring and managing the Slate platform. This role involves working closely with users to define and document requirements, configure and set up the system, create training documentation, and support users through testing and production go-live. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and system configurations.
- Configuration and Setup:
- Configure and customize the Slate platform to meet the defined requirements.
- Build and implement workflows, forms, and reports within Slate.
- Training and Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive training materials and user guides.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
- Testing and Go-Live Support:
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system configurations.
- Provide hands-on support during the production go-live phase.
- Post-Implementation Support:
- Monitor system performance and address any issues that arise.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Technolutions Slate, particularly in Admissions/Enrollment Management.
- Strong understanding of higher education admissions processes and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in creating and delivering training materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Slate Student Experience or Slate Alumni modules.
- Previous consulting experience in a higher education setting.
