Responsibilities:
Lead the development of risk-based testing and advance the quality of the technology team
Coach and advise technical and testing staff on best practices, tools, and consistent processes
Lead the design and development of testing approaches, automation strategy, and capability improvement
Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide solutions to complex software validation problems
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience in developing Web and Mobile Test automation scripts
Hands on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Playwright
Ability to design, develop, and execute automated tests using scripting languages such as Java, C#, Visual Basic or Python
Experience with building test strategies and test plans
Self-directed, successfully removes barriers, and drives tasks towards resolution
Effectively communicates (both written and orally) with technical and non-technical colleagues
Understands roles and responsibilities of team members within the Scrum framework
Willing to learn new technologies
Team oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field
Project management experience
Experience testing wearables (Apple watch, Garmin, Fitbit etc.)
Knowledge on Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and data driven automation framework
Experience in performance testing tools like Blazemeter and Jmeter
Ability to create reusable and low maintenance test automation scripts
Implement automation best practices and work towards process improvements
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
