Job Description

A local insurance company is looking to add a full time Systems Administrator to their team. The systems administrator will be responsible for maintaining their infrastructure and will be working within a hybrid Windows environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in both Azure cloud servers and virtual servers using VMware ESXi. While most of the environment is on prem, all web services run on Azure App service so experience supporting websites in Azure is a must. Occasionally, the systems administrator will be responsible for firewall patching and other network maintenance so experience with Cisco or Fortinet technologies is a plus. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and get hands on with various server environments as well as some systems engineering and networking projects. They also offer a flexible remote work arrangement for local candidates and excellent benefits. Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience supporting, upgrading, and maintaining Windows servers.
  • Strong working experience with both virtual and cloud environments specifically using Azure.
  • Experience working with Azure Infrastructure As a Service.
  • Experience with Azure app service to support websites.
  • Strong working experience with virtual servers using VMware ESXi.
  • Experience working with Cisco ASA or Fortinet firewalls
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Relevant Microsoft/ VMware Certifications
  • Experience troubleshooting Cisco networking technologies.
  • Degree in IT or equivalent years of experience
