    IT Support Technician
    JOB SUMMARY:
    This candidate will also work closely with our IT Team to maintain, develop, plan and deploy computer, network and server hardware and software for the facility as well as to the field. This will include managing the helpdesk support system, security access, remote location support and management of software/hardware purchases. Work in conjunction with software/hardware vendors during deployments/issues.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
    Network Administration (Manage, Troubleshoot, Repair)
    Maintain Network Equipment (Routers, Switches, WLCs, etc)
    Troubleshoot VPN and WAN connectivity Issues
    Maintaining & repairing 50-200 computers & 50+ servers
    Troubleshooting of software/hardware issues
    Manage and Maintain On and Offsite backups.
    Server Administration knowledge

    Working Knowledge of SMB/Enterprise Routers, Access point & Switches (Cisco)
    Working Knowledge of Windows 2003 thru 2016 Server
    Working Knowledge of VMWare/ESXi
    Computer/Server Hardware
    Working Knowledge Linux

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    Associates degree
    Certifications Microsoft, A+
    Management, troubleshooting and Maintenance of various networking equipment (Cisco)
    Client/Server software includes Microsoft / Linux /ESXii.
    3-5 years experience.

    COMPUTER SKILLS:
    CLI management of Cisco Networking Equipment
    All Microsoft Operating Systems
    Knowledge of Google Kite/Google Apps for Business (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Etc.)
    Linux Operating Systems

    COMMUNICATION and/or CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS:
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    Ability to write routine business reports and business correspondence in English.
    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers.
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents.
