About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Functional Data Architect with a strong background in manufacturing industry processes to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will combine deep Oracle ERP functional expertise with hands-on experience in data architecture, master data strategy, and process integration across manufacturing operations.This role is central to designing the enterprise data backbone that supports supply chain, production, inventory, and financial visibility across complex global manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the data architecture design for Oracle ERP implementations and digital transformation projects in the manufacturing sector.
  2. Define and maintain enterprise data models, including item master, BOM, routings, work orders, WIP, inventory, costing, and supply chain hierarchies.
  3. Collaborate with business process owners and functional consultants to ensure data alignment with manufacturing workflows (production, procurement, logistics, quality, maintenance).
  4. Develop and execute data migration, validation, and reconciliation strategies for Oracle
  5. E-Business Suite (EBS) and/or Oracle Cloud ERP environments.
  6. Partner with integration teams to support data exchange between ERP, MES, PLM, and data warehouse systems.
  7. Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and stewardship frameworks across plants and business units. Provide subject matter expertise in manufacturing data structures, costing models, and configuration management.
  8. Support reporting and analytics enablement through well-defined data architecture and master data definitions.
  9. Contribute to client workshops, solution design sessions, and training activities related to ERP data transformation.

Required Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP functional consulting (E-Business Suite R12 and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud).
  2. 5+ years of data architecture or master data management experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance modules (INV, BOM, WIP, Costing, Purchasing, Order Management, GL).
  4. Proven experience in data migration and integration projects using Oracle tools (FBDI, ADFdi, ODI, or equivalent).
  5. Expertise in data modeling, governance, and lifecycle management for manufacturing master and transactional data.
  6. Experience with multi-site or global manufacturing data structures.
  7. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating Oracle ERP with MES, PLM, or IoT platforms.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data services, data lakes, and analytics tools (OTBI, OAC, Power BI).
  • Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Oracle ERP Cloud or Manufacturing certifications highly desirable.
