Job Details

We re seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Developer to design, develop, and enhance our field service technology platform supporting utility operations. In this role, you ll lead technical solutioning, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce FSL capabilities that empower field technicians, streamline asset maintenance, improve outage management, and elevate customer experience.

This is a key technical leadership role at the intersection of Salesforce engineering, field operations, and the utilities industry.

<>Responsibilities</>
  • Lead architecture, design, and development of Salesforce FSL solutions for utility field operations such as inspections, repairs, installations, and outage response.
  • Configure and customize FSL components including Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Mobile Flows.
  • Develop custom logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs to support mobile and field operations.
  • Integrate Salesforce with GIS, OMS, SCADA, and ERP systems to enhance data flow and visibility.
  • Establish and maintain development best practices, version control, and CI/CD processes.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with IT, field operations, and customer service teams to align FSL solutions with business goals.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across projects.
<>Qualifications</>
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 2+ years with FSL in a utilities environment.
  • Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD tools in Agile environments.
  • Salesforce Certifications preferred:
  • Field Service Consultant
  • Platform Developer I/II
  • Service Cloud Consultant
<>Preferred Skills</>
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with utility systems such as GIS, SCADA, OMS, or AMI.
  • Knowledge of crew dispatching, outage restoration, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and utility safety standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
