RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Developer Mid in Baltimore, MD.
Duties:
* Software Developer Mid will perform and/or manage activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining high quality solutions, products and processes
* Applies technical expertise to plan, design, build or support required products and processes
* As a Software Developer Mid, you will support your team via on-call rotation and during storm events as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 6 to 8 years of experience in (Oracle DB Technologies - data model, interfaces, SQL reporting solutions) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
* Appropriate technical skills - Extensive experience demonstrating skill performing analysis, design, programming and testing in procedural languages (Python, JAVA, C++, .Net, Unix scripting/operating systems, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of IT Change Control and Source Control methodologies
* Knowledge of business practices pertaining to Electric Operations
* Strong problem solving and analysis ability
* Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
