Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Scrum Master Aspects:
    Facilitating Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), removing impediments, coaching the team on agile principles, and supporting the Product Owner in backlog management.
  • Business Analyst Aspects:
    Conducting business analysis, documenting requirements (user stories, process flows), translating business needs into actionable tasks, and ensuring alignment between business goals and project delivery.
  • Shared Skills:
    Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation, problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, and continuous improvement are crucial for both roles.
Transitioning from BA to Scrum Master:
  • Learn the Scrum Framework: Understand Scrum principles and practices thoroughly.
