    Role Overview
    • Purpose: Support test facility operations by managing systems infrastructure, ensuring network stability, and maintaining secure environments.
      • Key Projects:Administer Windows Server & Linux environments
      • Configure/troubleshoot networks (IP, DHCP, VLANs)
      • Document system performance and configurations
    Typical Day
    • Onsite, 40 hours/week (flexible start; standard 8 AM)
    • Daily system checks, network maintenance, ticket resolution
    • Collaborate with team for updates and reporting
    • Maintain accurate documentation and hardware support
    Sample Tasks
    • Review alerts, tickets, overnight logs
    • Verify network/server health
    • Configure switches, firewalls, wireless APs
    • Assign IPs, VLANs, DHCP/DNS settings
    • Image servers (MDT, WDS, PXE)
    • Apply OS updates and patches
    • Join servers to domain, validate access
    • Troubleshoot imaging/network issues
    • Maintain network diagrams and documentation
    • Coordinate deployments with team/vendors
    • Backup configs and verify success
