Job Summary

In this role, you will use your strong knowledge of IT buildouts within large construction projects, classified space physical layouts, network and space security authorization, network infrastructure technologies, and systems integration engineering to help Aerospace build next-generation facilities to meet evolving customer mission needs across the enterprise.

Work Model

Hybrid: Primarily onsite at El Segundo, Chantilly, or Colorado Springs locations with some remote work allowed

What You'll Be Doing
  • Work with Aerospace facilities and security personnel as well as contractors to review construction designs and advise on feedback and modifications
  • Engineer design alternatives based on government customer requirements
  • Coordinate installation of data, telecommunications, and monitoring networks and circuits with Aerospace IT groups
  • Proactively communicate and coordinate challenges and mitigations within any project
  • Develop enterprise-wide standards for areas such as wiring
  • Assist with security submittals

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for Staff IV:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Currently holds or have held a TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • 10 years of experience participating in IT infrastructure buildout for large corporate facilities
  • Familiarity with ICDs 703 and 705, CNSSAM TEMPEST/1-13, and Best Practice Guidance for Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding
  • Background in networking, audio visual, or telecommunications systems

Minimum Requirements for Staff V:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Currently holds or have held a TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • 15 years of experience participating in IT infrastructure buildout for large corporate facilities
  • 5 years of experience leading IT infrastructure buildouts for large corporate facilities
  • Experience implementing elements of ICD 703, ICD 705, CNSSAM TEMPEST/1-13, or Best Practice Guidance for Architectural Radio Frequency Shielding
  • Extensive background implementing large networking, audio visual, or telecommunications systems

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with SSBI and CI polygraph
  • Graduate degree from an accredited program in computer science, computer engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Industry-recognized certification from BICSI in relevant areas
  • Experience in large IT infrastructure buildouts supporting Department of Defense customers or contractors
  • Experience managing contractors

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$115,000 - $150,000 - $190,000
