Job Description:
Apex Systems is hiring for a Senior Data Analyst for a major Healthcare company.
6 months contract with potential to extend or convert.
FULLY REMOTE: EST, CST, or MST is preferred for working time zone.
You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
About the role:
The team will work on expanding Service Fund (VBC) to bring in new sources, expand functionality, and support the existing application.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4 - 6 years of related experience.
Technical Skills:
Experience with one or more of the following skills are desired.
Big Data; Data Processing
Data Manipulation; Data Mining
C#; Java; Python: SQL; Programming Concepts; Programming Tools
Agile Software Development
Soft Skills:
Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Day to Day:
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are accurate and efficient.
Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms).
Maintain data integrity and ensure consistency across reporting systems.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, and anomalies.
