Job Description

You will be an Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), joining a network of engineering professionals implementing cutting-edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced products for military customers, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA, and dozens of foreign allies.

What You Will Be Doing
As an Electrical Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Guidance Electronics Integrated Product Team (IPT) ensuring technical excellence, leading tasks to completion, and communicating technical status and issues to internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

-Ocala, FL site Production Support (including troubleshooting, dispositioning hardware and tracking hardware pedigree, YIT, PSR/CAB, engineering drawing release coordination, tracking hardware updates from NORs/stock purges/SPNs)
-Flight Test/Qualification Support (including TRRs, MSRs, troubleshooting, FRB support)
-Weekly Business Cadence (preparing weekly customer charts, participating in Production Daily meetings)
-Closeout of requirement verification, RFVs
-Affordability Initiatives (including tracking changes and coordinating cut-in plans)
-Future Development (including tracking the project status and coordinating cut-in plans)
-Additional abilities include interfacing and coordinating efforts amongst multiple disciplines, including Structural Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Material & Process Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Laboratory Engineers, Production Operations, Subcontractor Management and other departments.
-Periodic travel to MFC and supplier production facilities.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
- Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
- Electrical Engineering with strong background in troubleshooting electronics
- Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
- Experience in selecting digital and analog electrical components for application onto circuit boards
- Process Improvement and Affordability experience
- Strong business acumen and whole systems thinking
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
- Full Lifecycle Development Experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
- Experience in CCA production Support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel approx. 20% of time domestically.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
