Job Description


NACD is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to assist with testing and documentation of software products within the company’s infrastructure. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test scripts to identify software application and integration issues and develop company specific documentation for end users. The IT Quality Assurance Analyst works to ensure the strategic goals of the organization are being reached by overseeing functional testing of business unit project initiatives and achieving appropriate signed off by each business unit(s).


  • Develops, executes, and maintains test strategies to include test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts that adequately assess software functionality.
  • Interact with program stakeholders and engineers to review test plans, including integration and regression tests, aide in troubleshooting and resolution of coding issues.
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation and using Atlassian tools, to include Confluence and Jira,
  • Create user acceptance test scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Works with departmental leadership to effectively support NACD’s growth, continuous improvement, business goals and objectives.
  • Independently and collaboratively performs testing, documentation, and training to support the release of new functionality to applicable business units.
  • Participates in quality assurance (QA) activities within NACD’s CRM and DXP platforms; will also engage in executing test cases for other IT products.
  • Documents and evaluates test results and defects; tracks and manages defects and works with IT teams and business unit to troubleshoot issues.
  • Supports holistic testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, performance, and user-acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Participates in executing QA roadmaps and strategies.
  • Assists business units by communicating applicable testing practices and expectations.
  • Establishes and maintains traceability of requirements through test plans and cases.
  • Participates in cross-functional project teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


A bachelor’s degree: previous administration experience is required. Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience using the platform including applications like Sales Console.

Must have excellent communication skills and experience effectively communicating with technical and non- technical audiences, as well as demonstrated efficient and effective use of problem solving and task prioritization techniques to solve complex challenges. Must be able to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal. Must possess an ability to work well with others as well as independently, with extreme attention to detail.

NACD employees are required to be fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus by their first day of employment. An employee is “fully vaccinated” two weeks after receiving their second dose of a two-dose vaccination series or two weeks after the first shot of a single-dose vaccine (or as described by the vaccine manufacturer).
