Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Superintendent. We have multiple openings at various levels onsite in Fremont, CA.

Responsibilities:
* Superintendent will successfully lead complex contracted and self-performed construction projects
* Create and drive project schedules, solving critical paths and communicating roadblocks
* Manage contractors schedule, safety, quality, and cleanliness expectations
* Develop and maintain site logistics and execution plans
* Employ a can-do attitude, working through challenges with all stakeholders
* Direct work in field, track changes, etc. both individually and leading or participating in a larger team
* Work with engineering teams to resolve design roadblocks immediately
* As a Superintendent, you will ensure installation meets end users' requirements and quality expectations
* Find creative solutions to challenging problems, removing barriers to meet our fast-paced deadlines
* Schedule and lead quality control and site safety inspections
* Facilitate inspections with AHJs to ensure timely use of occupied spaces

REQUIREMENTS:
* OSHA 10 certified (OSHA 30 is a plus)
* Must have construction superintendent experience - not superintendents/foreman overseeing crews
* Strong MEP experience - no preference on discipline
* Brownfield experience
* Ability/experience with working on a project and keeping the adjacent areas operating
* Bluebeam
* P6
* Microsoft Projects
* Excel
* Safety is extremely important
* Ability to read schedules and understand the next day
* Ideally share scenario that they helped with safety on a site in resume
* Backgrounds: Hospitals, airports, laboratories, research facilities
* Oil refinery background with 2 weeks shutdown experience; Shutdown experience preferred
* Demo experience is strongly preferred
* Tenant fit outs and demo preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
